Thanks for coming in, Mr Zazai. Before we lodge your divorce application, tell me exactly when you and your wife stopped living as a couple.

That's fine, separation under one roof is accepted if you can prove it. Have you signed a statutory declaration confirming the date of separation?

You'll need to describe your living arrangements, finances, and how you told friends or family about the separation. Do you have any witnesses?

Yes, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia requires at least 12 months of separation before granting a divorce. Has it been that long for you?

If you have children under 18, the court needs to know they're properly cared for before approving the divorce. Do you have a parenting plan?

I'd recommend putting that agreement in writing, even informally, before your hearing on the ninth of December. It'll support your application.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
