I'm the duty solicitor from Legal Aid NSW. Your son was arrested last night at Parramatta for alleged drug possession. I will explain everything through the interpreter.

Police found fifteen grams of cannabis in his car during a random search. He's been charged with drug possession and will appear before the magistrate today.

The bail hearing is this afternoon at Parramatta Local Court. The magistrate will decide whether to release him or keep him in custody.

If bail is refused, he'll be remanded in custody at Silverwater until the next court date, roughly four weeks away. We can reapply for bail then.
