Beyond Blue

'Beyond Blue' નામ અંગ્રેજીમાં જ રાખો, કારણ કે તે સંસ્થાનું ચોક્કસ નામ છે; જરૂર પડે તો 'માનસિક સ્વાસ્થ્ય સહાય સંસ્થા Beyond Blue' એમ ટૂંકમાં ઉમેરો.

Counselling sessions

My Aged Care

ઉમેદવારો તેને સીધું 'આરામ' અથવા 'રજા' કહી દે છે, જેનાથી તે એક ઔપચારિક કેર-સેવા છે એ અર્થ ખોવાઈ જાય છે.

Home care package

"Home Care Package" શબ્દ અંગ્રેજીમાં જ બોલવો; જરૂર પડે તો "ઘરે સંભાળ માટેની સરકારી સહાય યોજના" તરીકે ટૂંકમાં સમજાવવું.

ઉમેદવારો તેને "નર્સિંગ હોમ" અથવા સાદી "ઘરેલુ મદદ" તરીકે અનુવાદિત કરે છે, જે ખોટું છે કારણ કે આ યોજના વ્યક્તિને ઘરમાં જ રહેવા દેવા માટે છે, નર્સિંગ હોમમાં મોકલવા માટે નહીં.

TIS National

Aged care assessment

"aged care assessment" ને "વૃદ્ધ સંભાળ મૂલ્યાંકન" તરીકે કહી શકાય, અને તે ACAT સાથે જોડાયેલ પ્રક્રિયા છે એમ સ્પષ્ટ કરવું.

Interpreter service

'ઇન્ટરપ્રિટર સર્વિસ' અંગ્રેજી શબ્દ જ બોલવો, અથવા 'ભાષાંતરકારની સેવા' એમ સમજાવી શકાય.

ઉમેદવારો ઘણી વાર તેને 'ટ્રાન્સલેશન સર્વિસ' (લેખિત ભાષાંતર) કહી દે છે, જ્યારે ખરેખર આ બોલાયેલી ભાષા માટેની મૌખિક interpreter સેવા છે, જેનાથી ભેદ ખોવાઈ જાય છે.

NDIS
