Thanks for coming in with your mother, Mr Karim. Her scan and memory test are back, and I'd like to explain what they show today.

Her MRI at Wollongong Hospital shows some shrinkage in the memory area of the brain, and she scored eighteen out of thirty on the cognitive test, which suggests dementia.

There isn't a cure, but medication can slow the progression, and we'll refer her to a memory support program. I'd also suggest contacting My Aged Care for home support.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- my aged careএটিকে প্রপার নাউন হিসেবে ইংরেজিতেই রাখা উচিত — 'My Aged Care' বলা উচিত, প্রয়োজনে সংক্ষেপে বলা যায় এটি 'বয়স্কদের সেবা সংক্রান্ত সরকারি পরিষেবা'।
- home care package"home care package" ইংরেজি শব্দটি রাখাই ভালো, বাংলায় ব্যাখ্যা করতে হলে বলা যায় "বাড়িতে বয়স্কদের যত্ন সহায়তা প্যাকেজ (home care package)"।
