Mr Novák's CT scan from Thursday shows a mild traumatic brain injury with no bleeding, which is quite reassuring news for your whole family this morning.

Memory lapses like that are quite common after a concussion and usually improve within about six weeks, though we will continue monitoring him closely throughout that time.
