Hi, I'm Sarah, one of the nurses looking after you tonight at Nepean Hospital. Can you tell me exactly how the fall happened this afternoon?
Uklouzl jsem na mokré podlaze v koupelně kolem třetí hodiny odpoledne a udeřil jsem se hlavou o okraj vany.
Did you lose consciousness at any point, or notice any vomiting, blurred vision, severe headache, or confusion afterwards?
Ne, vědomí jsem neztratil, ale mám silnou bolest hlavy a je mi trochu nevolno od té chvíle, co jsem spadl.
Good news — your CT scan came back clear, with no bleeding or fracture, but we still need to monitor you closely.
To je dobrá zpráva, ale ta bolest hlavy pořád neustupuje a cítím mírnou nevolnost — je to normální?
You should rest quietly at home, avoid screens and strenuous activity for a day, and come back immediately if headaches worsen or you start vomiting.
Rozumím. A mám zítra jít do práce, nebo bych si měl vzít pár dní volna?
You shouldn't return to work or lift anything heavy for at least 48 hours, since your brain still needs time to recover fully.
Dobře, to zvládnu. Ale smím zítra ráno řídit auto, nebo bych měl s tím ještě počkat?
