Mr. Kovács, thanks for coming in today. Could you walk me through exactly what happened when your employer terminated your position last Thursday afternoon at the Wagga Wagga store?

Under the Fair Work Act, you have 21 days from the dismissal date to lodge an unfair dismissal application with the Fair Work Commission.

If you miss the 21-day deadline, you generally can't apply unless there are truly exceptional circumstances. The filing fee is modest and can be waived if you're facing financial hardship.
