Mr. Nowak, before we begin the examination, could you describe exactly what happened when you fell from the ladder this afternoon, and where you hit your head?
Czyściłem rynny stojąc na drabinie i się poślizgnąłem. Spadłem chyba z jakichś dwóch metrów i uderzyłem głową o betonowy chodnik przed domem.
Did you lose consciousness at any point during the fall, and if so, for roughly how long would you estimate — a few seconds or longer?
Tak, straciłem przytomność, może na jakieś dziesięć sekund. Kiedy się obudziłem, byłem bardzo zdezorientowany i przez chwilę nie wiedziałem, gdzie jestem.
Since the accident, have you experienced any vomiting, a persistent headache, dizziness, or blurred vision that wasn't there before the fall?
Mam silny ból głowy i raz zwymiotowałem w drodze do szpitala. Nie mam natomiast żadnego zamglenia ani podwójnego widzenia, widzę normalnie.
We'll arrange a CT scan for you here at Bendigo Health, and afterwards we'll monitor you closely in this department for about four hours.
