Thanks for calling Medibank, Mr. Volkov. I'm reviewing your recent claim for physiotherapy sessions, which was rejected last week due to missing documentation.

Yes, under Medibank's extras cover, a written referral is required before claims for ongoing physiotherapy treatment can be approved and reimbursed.

There isn't a fixed deadline for a decision, but most reviews are completed within two to three weeks once all supporting documents have been received.
