Mr. Jovanović, I have your liver biopsy results back, and I need to explain carefully what they show and what our treatment plan will be.
Ah, doktore, to zvuči veoma ozbiljno. Nisam očekivao ovakve vesti, jer sam se poslednjih meseci osećao sasvim dobro.
The biopsy confirms a tumour called hepatocellular carcinoma, roughly four centimetres wide, located in the right lobe of your liver, but it hasn't spread elsewhere.
Razumem, doktore. Kakve opcije lečenja imam? Da li je operacija jedina mogućnost, ili postoji nešto manje rizično?
We can treat this with either surgery or a procedure called ablation, and our specialist team at Liverpool Hospital will discuss both options with you in detail.

Surgery can cause some pain, tiredness, and reduced appetite afterwards, but most patients recover steadily within a few weeks if there are no complications.
