Thank you for coming in. Can you tell me exactly when you and your wife stopped living together as a couple?

For a divorce, you need twelve months of separation. If you lived under the same roof, you must prove you were genuinely separated.

Your application will go to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia here in Victoria. We'll need an affidavit describing your living arrangements during that time.
