Take a seat, Mr Kovačić. You mentioned on the phone that you were dismissed from your job last Thursday — can you tell me exactly what happened?
Otpušten sam prošli četvrtak iz skladišta u Bendigu, potpuno iznenada, i još uvijek ne razumijem zašto se to dogodilo.
How long had you worked there, and did you ever receive any written warnings or performance reviews before this happened?
Radio sam tamo tri godine i nikada nisam dobio nijedno pismeno upozorenje. Mislim da su me otpustili jer sam prijavio problem sa sigurnošću.
Based on what you've told me, you may be able to lodge an unfair dismissal claim with the Fair Work Commission, but you must apply within 21 days of your dismissal.
Kako to točno funkcionira? Moram li platiti nešto da bih podnio taj zahtjev Komisiji?
There's no fee to lodge the application, but if you miss the 21-day deadline, you could permanently lose your right to make a claim.

I can't guarantee compensation, but the Commission can arrange a conciliation conference to discuss reinstatement, or a payment instead of getting your job back.
