Thanks for meeting with me today. Could you tell me how your father's pain has been over the past three days?

The hospital stay itself is covered by Medicare, but non-emergency patient transport isn't, so you'd need to organise that privately.

Visiting hours are flexible for family during end-of-life care, so you and your siblings are welcome to stay overnight whenever that would help him feel calmer and less alone.

We'll need the treating doctor's signature before the advance care directive becomes valid, so nothing can proceed until it's signed and witnessed.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
