Thanks for coming in today, Mr. Tanaka. How has your mood been since we last spoke about the depression symptoms?
実は、前回お話ししたときより気分がもっと沈んでいて、夜もなかなか眠れないんです。仕事にも集中できなくて、少し不安を感じています。
I'd like to refer you to a psychiatrist and set up a Mental Health Care Plan with your GP, so Medicare can help cover some sessions.
分かりました。精神科の予約はどのくらい待つ必要がありますか。それと、費用はどれくらいかかりますか。
The waiting list at Bankstown Community Health Centre is usually three to four weeks, and if the psychiatrist bulk-bills, you won't pay anything for the first six sessions.
それを聞いて少し安心しました。ところで、処方される薬にはどんな副作用があるんでしょうか。
We'd start with a low-dose antidepressant called sertraline; some people feel mild nausea initially, and you shouldn't drive if you feel dizzy or unusually drowsy.
もし二週間経っても効果を感じなかったら、自分の判断で薬をやめてもいいですか。
Please don't stop it suddenly even if you feel no change after two weeks; we need to review your progress together first before changing anything.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- Mental health care plan「メンタルヘルスケアプラン」とカタカナで説明し、必要なら『GPが作成する、Medicareの補助を受けられる心のケア計画』と補足する。
- Medicare固有名詞としてそのまま「Medicare」と言う。日本の健康保険とは制度が異なるため『健康保険』と訳さず、Medicareのまま伝えるのが安全。
- Waiting list「待機リスト」と訳す。
