Thanks for coming in today, Ms. Tanaka. Could you please walk me through what you typically eat on an average day right now?
そうですね、朝は何も食べずに出かけることが多くて、お昼はサラダだけ、夜はほとんど食べないこともあります。
You mentioned skipping breakfast most days. Have you noticed any change in your energy levels, or how often you're exercising each week?
はい、毎日ジョギングをしていて、この二ヶ月で体重が八キロ減りました。疲れていても、運動をやめると不安になるんです。
I'd like to refer you to a dietitian and counsellor team, and also give you the Butterfly Foundation helpline number for extra support between sessions.
紹介していただけるのはありがたいですが、費用が心配です。メディケアで全部カバーされるんでしょうか。
Under a mental health care plan, Medicare covers several sessions with a psychologist each year. If those aren't enough, we can request more visits.
分かりました。家族にはまだ話していないんですが、必ず伝えないといけないんでしょうか。
Involving family can be helpful, but it isn't required. It's entirely your choice how much you want them to know right now.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- Mental health care plan「メンタルヘルスケアプラン」とカタカナで説明し、必要なら『GPが作成する、Medicareの補助を受けられる心のケア計画』と補足する。
- Medicare固有名詞としてそのまま「Medicare」と言う。日本の健康保険とは制度が異なるため『健康保険』と訳さず、Medicareのまま伝えるのが安全。
- Referral letter「紹介状」と訳すのが最も自然。
