Counselling Session: Anxiety and a Mental Health Care Plan
Counsellor (speaking English) and Client (speaking Khmer) talk through “Counselling Session: Anxiety and a Mental Health Care Plan”. You interpret both ways — English into Khmer, and Khmer into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thank you for coming in again today. Since our last session, how have you been feeling, especially with your sleep and your mood at home?
Have you noticed any changes in your appetite, or any thoughts of hurting yourself? It's important that you tell me honestly, without holding back.
There's a Medicare mental health care plan your GP can organise, which gives you subsidised counselling sessions here at Monash Health.
The plan isn't unlimited — it covers up to ten sessions each year, though we can request more if that's genuinely needed.
I can arrange a Khmer interpreter through TIS National for every future appointment. Would Thursday morning at ten o'clock suit you and your husband?
You're welcome to bring your son along, or we can schedule the appointment after school finishes. I'll also give you a breathing exercise handout.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
