Mrs Ivanova, your glucose tolerance test showed a fasting reading of eight point two millimoles, which is higher than we'd like at twenty-four weeks.

This means you have gestational diabetes. It's manageable through diet changes and regular blood sugar monitoring, and it usually resolves after birth.
