Thank you for coming in, Mr. Htun. I'd like to go through your test results today and discuss the treatment options available to you.

Your blood test confirms you have HIV, but it's a manageable condition now. Here at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, we can start you on antiretroviral therapy straight away.

Most patients take one tablet daily. If you keep taking it consistently, your viral load can become undetectable, which means the virus can't be passed on to others.
