Your X-ray shows the back molar has a deep crack running below the gum line, which is why you've been feeling sharp pain when you bite down on food.

The tooth can be saved, but it needs a crown rather than just a filling, otherwise the crack could spread further and cause a fracture.

CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
