Good afternoon. Your surgeon referred you here for breast reconstruction after last year's mastectomy. Could you tell me about any other health conditions you currently have?
Thank you. Are you currently a smoker, and have you had any previous surgeries requiring general anaesthetic?
That's reassuring to hear. We'll schedule your reconstruction surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The current waiting list is approximately fourteen weeks, depending on theatre availability.
On dört hafta mı?
Most patients experience moderate pain for about a week, managed well with medication. You shouldn't return to work before six weeks, unless your surgeon approves earlier recovery.
Since you're not a smoker, that part is fine. However, please stop your blood pressure medication only if your GP confirms it's safe to do so.
Tamam, doktoruma soracağım. Ameliyat günü hastaneye tam olarak saat kaçta gelmem gerekiyor?
You'll need to arrive at the hospital by seven a.m. on the day of your surgery. Please bring your Medicare card and completed pre-admission forms with you.
Anladım, çok teşekkür ederim. Formları eksiksiz doldurup zamanında geleceğim.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.
