To see a psychologist under Medicare, you'll need a Mental Health Care Plan — but only your GP or a psychiatrist can create that plan, not me.

I can support you, but I'm not able to issue that plan myself. Let's book you with your GP this week to get started.

Yes, I'll arrange an accredited Ukrainian interpreter for that GP appointment. Once you have the plan, Medicare covers up to ten psychologist sessions.

Usually the first psychologist session starts about two weeks after the plan is made. But if you ever feel unsafe, please call Lifeline straight away, don't wait.
