Spanish education vocabulary
These notes come from this language’s vocabulary list. Terms belong to this topic’s vocabulary category or occur in the dialogues above. Renderings are study aids.
myGov
Year 12
Decir 'Year 12' o 'último año de secundaria'.
Details to keep in your interpretation
These examples come from this topic’s practice answers. Compare the source, the detail to retain and the model interpretation.
Address and relationships: keep the father's brother distinct from the child's brother
Learning Support Plan for Mateo · segment 4
It is the father's brother (Mateo's uncle), not Mateo's brother; keep the rhetorical question as a question.
Compare the model interpretation
That sounds very good. But wouldn't it be better to know exactly what's wrong with him? My brother also had trouble reading as a child and nobody explained anything to him.
A Father Corrects His Daughter's Camp Health Form
A Father Corrects His Daughter's Camp Health Form · segment 1
Before we discuss the camp from 16 to 18 November, Mr Salcedo, could you explain what needs correcting on your daughter's health form?
Keep both camp dates and the request as a question.
Compare the model interpretation
Choosing Mateo's Senior Subjects
Choosing Mateo's Senior Subjects · segment 1
Thanks for coming in, Mr Barrientos. Mateo must choose his Year Eleven subjects soon, so let's talk about what he enjoys and wants to do after school.
Keep Year Eleven as the school year (Year 11), not 'eleven subjects'.
Compare the model interpretation
