Before we complete the application, tell me how long you and your husband have lived separately, whether under one roof or in different homes.
ကျွန်မတို့ဟာ တစ်နှစ်နီးပါး ခွဲနေထိုင်ခဲ့ကြပါပြီ။ လင်ယောက်ျားက ဆယ့်လေးလကျော်က အိမ်ကထွက်သွားခဲ့ပြီး အခုအထိ သီးခြားနေထိုင်နေကြပါတယ်။
Australian law requires at least twelve months of continuous separation before you can apply. Since it has been fourteen months, you meet that requirement.

There is a filing fee, but if you hold a health care card or face financial hardship, you may qualify for a reduced fee.

The divorce order itself won't decide parenting arrangements or property division; those need separate applications, which we can discuss once the divorce is filed.

After filing, a hearing is usually scheduled about four weeks later, and the divorce order takes effect one month after that hearing date.
