NAATI CCL Dzongkha practice: our dialogues are on the way

naaticcl.com has no Dzongkha practice dialogues yet: 10 original Dzongkha CCL dialogues are written (5 with a woman speaking Dzongkha, 5 with a man) and are waiting for Bhutanese voices, because no machine voice reads Dzongkha well enough. Until they go live, NAATI's own Dzongkha practice material is free on naati.com.au.

Get an email when Dzongkha CCL practice goes live, and when new test dates appear

We check every 2 hours. NAATI updates its list about once a day, so this is not a live seat alert. One email to confirm, then one per change, nothing else. Stop any time in one tap.

About 10 minutes in your browser: one short sentence at a time, re-record any you don't like. Women read the women's lines and men the men's, so every voice matches the person speaking. A person on our team listens to each one; once they're approved, your account gets lifetime access to Dzongkha practice.

Questions people ask

Where can I practise NAATI CCL Dzongkha online?

NAATI publishes free Dzongkha practice material on naati.com.au (downloadable practice dialogues with audio). naaticcl.com does not have Dzongkha dialogues yet; 10 are written and waiting for native Bhutanese voices. Leave your email on this page and we send one email the day they go live.

Is the NAATI CCL test available in Dzongkha?

Yes. NAATI announced CCL testing in Dzongkha in March 2024, and lists Dzongkha sessions on its test date search. Passing CCL can support a claim for 5 points towards skilled migration.

How often is the Dzongkha CCL test held?

NAATI tests high-demand languages every month and the others at least 4 times a year, and bookings close 1 week before each session. As of 22 Oct 2026, 7:00 am (Sydney time), NAATI lists 11 upcoming Dzongkha sessions, 11 of them with seats; the next one with seats is Wed 11 Nov 2026. The current list is at naaticcl.com/naati-ccl-test-dates/dzongkha: we check it every 2 hours, and NAATI updates its own list about once a day.

Why are there no Dzongkha practice dialogues here yet?

Our practice dialogues need a native speaker's voice for the Dzongkha side. We tested every text-to-speech service and open model we could find; none reads Dzongkha clearly enough or can be used on a commercial site, so the Dzongkha lines are being read by Bhutanese volunteers instead.

Can I help record the Dzongkha voices?

Yes, if Dzongkha is your first language. Read 30 short sentences (women read the women's lines, men the men's), one at a time in your browser. Once a person on our team has checked them, your account gets lifetime access to Dzongkha practice on naaticcl.com.

How many marks do I need to pass?

63 out of 90, and at least 29 on each of the two dialogues. Marks come off for information you leave out, add, or change, and for language quality.
